We had a great stay with friends at Ivy Cottage over the New Year holidays. The open plan living space, with underfloor heating & wood burner was just what we needed given the cold wet weather outside. Cottage is all as pictured on Airbnb … bathrooms are modern & decorated accordingly. All rooms were "dressed" for the holidays including a Christmas Tree in the lounge. Great views across the forest with ponies, donkeys & deer wandering past freely... along with some bedraggled walkers, joggers & dog walkers! Communication with Adam was great. We had a couple of issues which he addressed for us. Would have no hesitation in booking a return visit.

A perfectly sized and located cottage for a break in the New Forest. Comfortable beds and a nice shower. We had everything we needed and a beautiful area of garden to use as our own - lovely for a peaceful sit outside with dinner or a cup of tea, or for a wander down to the pretty stretch of river in the garden or up the lane to Boldre church where I spotted a number of deer one evening. It is a short distance from lots of the main locations in the New Forest, we visited Beaulieu for the motor museum and to do canoeing on the river, Lymington for strawberry picking and chips on the harbourside, and took the ferry from Mudeford Quay to the sandbank for a day on the beach. Lots to see and do nearby and a lovely place to be based, we were made to feel very welcome, but also had our own self-contained space.

Stayed at the house to visit Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World, which is about 15 minutes away, and the house had everything we needed down to a box of colouring pens for the kids. It feels like a lot of thought and expense has gone into furnishing the house with ample towels, crockery, and huge tvs in every room. As hosts they're also really helpful, we couldn't find the travel cot to start off with and they quickly responded when I sent them a message. I would definitely stay here again.

Melissa had sent all the details to checkin ahead of time. The place is easy to find and you can park 2 cars easily on the driveway. We cooked twice and really enjoyed having the open plan kitchen. Hot tub made our evenings fun and relaxing. Will definitely visit again.

Helen. was an attentive and proactive host ensuring we had everything for our stay . The house is beautiful and very homely with plenty of room for our extended family and furries. We were all able to totally relax and enjoy the lovely surroundings including the beautiful secluded garden, which the children loved. We would thoroughly recommend Helen's home for a holiday destination. Thank you Helen.
